Growing up in rural Wyoming, Rachael’s main outlet was Film and Television. Her older brother worked at the local movie theater thus securing an endless supply of cinematic adventures for her to enjoy. Rachael particularly liked witty comedies like Blazing Saddles and her all-time favorite TV show, Mystery Science Theater 3000. Her love for Film and Television drove her to earn a degree in Communications as well as a degree in Visual Arts from Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She draws inspiration from descriptive words and imagery enjoying the endless possibilities for creating a character or concept (and she still loves movies!).
Rachael moved to New York City in August 2013 with her husband and two adorable but admittedly overweight cats. She has been supporting them while he finishes his law degree. In 2015, she was accepted to the Master Make-Up Artistry Program at Make-Up Designory. While in school, Rachael created beauty makeups and concepts for photoshoots featuring models from top agencies such as Major Models and Q Models.
Since graduating, Rachael has worked on a variety of project as she continues to expand her portfolio. Her work includes projects such as, the anthology film, Bugs: A Trilogy, praised web series Brooklynfication, and feature film, All The Little Things We Kill.
She continues to build a career in Film, Television, and Corporate Video while focusing on the conceptual and practical aspects of makeup and character creation.
